- Born and Raised in Maryland, I spent most of my youth in Columbia, MD. Our family lived in Stuttgart, Germany from '83-'86, which left a lasting impression on me. College brought me to Penn State, some of the best days of my life. I still try to get back for a football game every year. I came to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1993 and have never looked back, except to move 'south' to Anchorage in 1999. I have 2 wonderful boys and enjoy the laid-back lifestyle and opportunity our state has to offer. After 8 years of teaching I am home with my boys and work from the home as an independent consultant for NYR Organic, a division of Neal's Yard Remedies, which represents outstanding organic personal care products. Between that, boys, and a little running with our 2 dogs, life is FULL and GOOD!
